Hiatus

I realized I should post something here just in case someone reads this who doesn't know me.

Just after the last post I had surgery, and I'm not expected to be able to do anything for a month or two.

    A month or two- ouch. Are they at least letting you go for short walks?

    You posted this just as I was leaving to go on a walk! Long term chronic pain was one of the first things the doctor brought up. I had the surgery on the 5th, and today is definitely the first day I've had where I don't wish I'd died on the table. I've improved very rapidly over the past few days. I've only talked to them about the Gila in nine days, and the doctor thought it would be ok. My day to day life I'm just supposed to take it easy.
